Description
The two K6 telephone kiosks, located at the south end of James Street on the edge of Covent Garden, are made of cast iron and painted red. They feature a standardised design with long horizontal glazing in the doors and sides, and the crowns on the top panels are applied rather than perforated. Each kiosk has rectangular white display signs that read 'TELEPHONE' beneath a shallow-curved roof. While the internal equipment has been modernised, the kiosks still retain their glass windows. These kiosks are situated in a prominent location within Covent Garden.
