Description

The memorial to Sir W. S. Gilbert is located at Charing Cross Pier on Victoria Embankment in the City of Westminster. It was created in 1914 by the sculptor George Frampton. The memorial features a bronze plaque that includes a portrait relief of Gilbert, along with two small figures representing Comedy and Tragedy, all mounted on a granite block.
