Description
This is a row of four houses located on the east side of Chester Square, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with stucco detailing to the ground floor, and have slate mansard roofs. They are arranged over four storeys, with a mansard attic and basement. Each house is two windows wide. The windows have square heads with gauged arches; they are sash windows with glazing bars, although No. 87 has plate glass. A French casement window is present on the first floor, along with a cast iron balcony featuring an anthemion pattern. The windows are protected by cast iron spearhead area railings.
