Description
Gate lodge to St John's Lodge, built around 1818-1819 by J Raffield. The building is constructed of stucco and has a slate roof, featuring a T-shaped plan. It is a single-storey structure with one window on each arm and a Tower of the Winds porch at the end of the central projection. The windows are recessed glazing bar sashes. The lodge has a plinth and a crowning cornice with a parapet, along with a raised corniced die above the porch. There are also corniced chimney stacks.
