Description

These are a group of terraced houses located on South Eaton Place, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick and stucco, with roofs that are not visible. They are four storeys high with a basement. Each house has a two-window frontage, featuring square-headed entrances with channelling on the ground floor. The windows are square-headed with gauged heads, and most of the original sash windows with their glazing bars remain. A continuous cast iron balcony with an anthemion pattern runs along the first floor. There is a cornice above the third floor, which has been damaged. The houses have cast iron area railings. They are included on the heritage register primarily for their contribution to the group value of the surrounding properties.
