Description
Nos 24 to 32 on Eccleston Street in Westminster are a row of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of stucco and feature three storeys, an attic, and a basement. Each house is two windows wide, with the end houses set forward slightly. The ground floor has channelling, and the entrances are square-headed with recessed panelled doors. A continuous cast-iron balcony with a lotus pattern runs along the first floor. The windows are square-headed and have sashes, mostly with glazing bars. There is a cornice above the second floor and a subsidiary cornice at the attic level. The right corner of the row is curved and has a blind windowed return. Additionally, there are cast iron area railings. This row of houses lines one of the streets leading into Chester Square.
