Description

The drinking fountain on North Walk in Kensington Gardens was constructed in 1939. It features a stone baluster that supports a basin, which is adorned with a bronze sculpture of embracing baby bears. This fountain was created by Keeble Smith and was presented to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association.
