Description
This is a row of houses located on Eaton Terrace in the City of Westminster, built in the early 19th century and altered since. The houses are constructed of yellow brick, with some stucco, and numbers 76 to 80 are entirely stuccoed. The roofs are not visible. The houses are generally three storeys high with a basement, although numbers 82 to 86 and 92 are four storeys high. Each house has two windows across the front. The ground floor features channelling, while the door surrounds are square-headed except for numbers 88 to 92, which have round heads. The doors are panelled, and the windows are sash windows, most containing glazing bars. Cast iron balconies are present at the first-floor level of the houses. The facade is finished with a stucco cornice and a parapet, and original cast iron area railings remain. The houses are included on the list for their group value within the context of the wider Eaton Terrace streetscape.
