Description

Putney Vale Cemetery gates, gate piers, and railings were likely built around 1890 in a Gothic style. The structure features stone octagonal piers with engaged colonnettes on the shafts and pyramidal heads. The iron gates and railings are designed with cusped lancets and a quatrefoil band above, adorned with floral finials on the rods. The gates have open circular plaques displaying the initials 'WBC'. The railings are set into dwarf brick walls topped with stone coping and are supported by open iron piers that have crown-like heads.
