Description
St Mary's Vicarage, located at No. 42 Vicarage Crescent, is a late 18th-century building that has been altered. It is three stories tall and features dormer windows, with a total of four windows on the facade. The structure is made of brown or yellow brick and has a band at the second-floor sills. The windows are recessed and fitted with glazing bars. There is a wrought iron gate with a simple lamp-holder above it, along with railings on a low forecourt wall. A plaque from the London County Council, erected in 1935, commemorates the residence of Dr. Edward Adrian Wilson, an Antarctic explorer and naturalist who died with Scott.
