Description
The White Swan Public House is an early 19th-century brick building located on Alie Street in London. It features a parapet and has four storeys with two window openings. The windows are sashes with plain gauged brick arches, and the first-floor windows have slightly cambered arches. The ground floor is distinguished by a dentil cornice with carved stops and heavy wrought iron work supporting a hanging inn sign. The windows likely retain their original glazing bars and are surrounded by tiles. Inside the entrance, there is a large coloured 19th-century tiled inn sign. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 9 to 25 (odd) and Nos 28 to 44 (even).
