Description

No 66 Leman Street is a building dating from around 1760. It is constructed of brown brick, and while the roof is not visible, it features a cornice at the third floor and a band at the first floor sill height. The building has four storeys, a basement, and an added attic. The windows are recessed sashes with glazing bars. The entrance has a wooden doorcase supported by plain Ionic columns, a pulvinated frieze, and a bracketed cornice with a pediment. Above the door, there is a semi-circular fanlight, an archivolt with a key, and moulded impost blocks. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 60 to 70 (even).
