Description

Poplar Dock's original eastern part was established in 1850, created from a former East India Dock basin as a commercial dock for the North London Railway. It features brick lining with ashlar coping and has a lock on the north side leading to The Blackwall Basin. The east quay is equipped with 20th-century travelling cranes that are tracked along it.
