Description

East Lane Stairs are river stairs located on the north side of Bermondsey Wall West in Southwark. They are shown on Horwood's map from 1799 and the Ordnance Survey map from 1872, and they may be the same as the "East Stairs" referenced on Roque's map from 1746. The stone-flagged hard is now broken up.
