Description
Sutherland House is a house that has been converted into a welfare clinic, built around 1845. It is constructed of yellow brick with stucco dressings and features a low pitched hipped slate roof with deep eaves. The building has two storeys and a basement, with three bays. There are steps leading up to the central door, which is framed by a pedimented Doric doorcase that has a dentil cornice. The windows are fitted with gauged, flat brick arches; the ground-floor windows have bracketed sills, while the first-floor windows have a stucco sill band. The interior has not been inspected.
