Description

Numbers 30-33 and attached railings are a group of four houses built between 1810 and 1830. They are constructed of yellow brick with a slate roof, and feature a stucco eaves cornice and dressings. The houses are two storeys high with a stucco basement. Numbers 30-33 each have two bays, although number 30 has an additional recessed entrance bay to the left. The doorways have stucco pilasters and an entablature, with the doorway to number 33 on a return. The sash windows have gauged, flat brick arches, and those to numbers 31 and 32 have margin lights. Ground-floor windows to numbers 30 and 31 have bracketed, projecting sills; number 30’s windows have decorative cast-iron guards. A stucco sill band runs along the first floor, and a band is present at ground floor level. The interior has not been inspected. Attached cast-iron area railings are present, largely featuring palmette motif heads.
