Description
Nos 47 to 61, Lee Terrace, are a group of four early to mid-19th century pairs of buildings. Each pair is two storeys high with an attic and basement. They feature a single window in a slightly projecting central block beneath a low gable, and another window in a lower entrance link with a parapet. The buildings are constructed of stucco. Recessed details are present on the axes, with a sill band to the first floor. They have moderately low-pitched slated roofs with overhanging eaves, and attic windows are half-lunettes. The windows of Nos 47-53 have moulded architraves but no glazing bars; the others have plain reveals and glazing bars. Console bracketed cornices are found above all windows. Nos 47-53 have prostyle porches with square columns, while the others feature wood trellis porches. The 4-panel doors, some of which have been altered, are topped with rectangular fanlights containing glazing bars.
