Description
Four public benches located on the embankment footpath immediately north of Alembic House date from the 19th century. They are now set in blocks of modern concrete with exposed aggregate. The benches feature cast iron centre and end supports, which have ornamental open-work panels and arms designed in the shape of swans. These supports hold long wooden slats for seating.
