Description

The war memorial, located on Clapham Park Road, was constructed between 1919 and 1920 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. It is made of limestone and features a tall cross with short arms, topped by a figure of Christ beneath a pierced canopy. The memorial is set on a plinth with an offset base, and the chamfered parapet extends to each side. The face of the parapet is inscribed, although the inscription is very worn.
