Description
This shelter, located approximately 40 metres south-west of the east entrance to Ruskin Park, dates from the late 18th century and serves as an entrance screen with flanking walls from a house that once stood in this location. It is constructed of red brick featuring four flat gauged window arches. The original windows have been altered to serve as entrances, while the side and back walls are made of stock brick. The central double screen consists of two pairs of columns, which have feathered and wreathed capitals, topped with a Doric entablature that includes triglyphs.
