Description

The Plough Inn is a symmetrical mid-19th century terrace located on Wandsworth Road. The building features slightly projecting ends and a central section that is pedimented. Each house in the terrace has three storeys and two windows. Constructed of stock brick, the terrace has a parapet. The Plough Inn, which comprises Nos 518 to 522, has been rendered, and the entire ground floor has been altered to create a modern public house front. The rest of the terrace retains segmental window arches with sash windows that include glazing bars. Most of the doors have been modernised. Between Nos 524 and 526, there is a round-arched entrance with wrought iron railings, and a blank round panel is present in the pediment. The building is included for its group value with No 516.
