Description
The balustrade with five lamp standards is located immediately north of the main block of the County Hall on Belvedere Road. It is made of stone and features five cast iron lamp standards. Each standard is designed with interlinked dolphins wrapping around a fluted, wreathed column, which supports a crowned globular lampholder. This design is similar to those found along the river wall. The bases of the lamp standards are inscribed alternately with 'G.V.R.' and '1933'.
