Description

This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of three cottages located on Stockwell Green. The cottages are each two storeys high with a basement, and each has two windows. They are constructed of stock brick with a stucco frieze cornice and blocking course. Above the central cottage is an inscription reading “VICTORIA PLACE”. The basements are stuccoed. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within stucco-lined reveals, and have gauged flat brick arches. There are eight steps leading to half-glazed four-panel doors, which are set in deep reveals within stuccoed surrounds that resemble entablatures. Similar surrounds are found on the ground floor windows. The buildings are included in the listing for their group value.
