Description

The public baths, built around 1900, are designed in the English Renaissance style and are constructed of red brick with stone dressings. The building is nine windows wide and features a symmetrical facade with a central section of three storeys that includes dormers, flanked by lower wings. It has three rusticated, square-headed doors and square-headed sash windows on the first and second floors. A main cornice runs above the first floor, and there are carved panels in both stone and brick. The baths are part of the Town Hall and Vestry Hall complex, sharing the same architectural style.
