Description

The Old Vestry Hall, part of Chelsea Town Hall, was built in 1886 and designed by architect J M Brydon. This building is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features one storey and a basement. The central section is pedimented and flanked by coupled Ionic pilasters, topped with a wooden cupola. The lower wings have balustraded parapets and three rusticated Serlian windows on the first floor. The hall is located at the rear of Chelsea Town Hall on King's Road and has a notable interior.
