Description

This is a row of six houses, numbered 6 to 16, located on Cadogan Gardens in London. They were built in the late 19th century, likely around the 1880s, and are nearly uniform in appearance, with four storeys plus an attic and basement. The houses are constructed of red brick and buff terracotta, with a tiled roof. The ground floor features segmental arches over the window and door openings. The upper floors have mullioned and transomed windows on the first and second floors, and sash windows on the third. The first floor is set back behind a parapet decorated with arabesque motifs. Bay windows are present in the upper parts of the houses, and the roof gables are alternately Dutch-gabled and straight-sided, and covered with tiles. The rear elevation is also of note.
