Description

Stuart House is a large, circa 1880, red brick house designed by A A Hunt for O L Stephen. It features a tiled roof, three storeys, attics, and a basement. The house is characterized by a central projecting portion with a Dutch gable, pilasters extending through the upper floors, and bay and bow windows. Decorative elements include terra-cotta sculptural reliefs and an ornamental cornice. The roof is hipped, and there are arcaded brick chimneys. The interior remains unexamined.
