Description

No. 45 Harrington Gardens is a dwelling house built between 1881 and 1884 by architects Ernest George and Peto. The building features red brick and stone construction with a tiled roof and is five windows wide. It has two storeys and dormers, with the centre and end bays being advanced and featuring balustraded balconies. Gabled dormers are present over the bays in between. The windows are mullioned and transomed, incorporating an Ipswich motif in several, and have leaded lights. There are end stacks and area balustrades. The interior has not been seen.
