Description

This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of three-storey houses with basements, originally comprising numbers 23 to 33 (odd) on Cheyne Row. The houses are built of yellow brick with a stucco ground floor. Architectural details include stucco cornices, blocking courses, and a band above the first floor. The ground floor windows have segmental brick heads, while the upper windows are square and feature sash windows with glazing bars and gauged brick heads. Iron balconies are present at the first floor level, with the exception of number 23. Area railings are also present. The houses contribute to the group value of the street, particularly in relation to the Grade II* terrace opposite, numbers 10 to 34.
