Description

This is a row of terraced houses located at numbers 36 to 52 Norland Square, dating from 1837 to 1846. The houses are stucco-faced and three storeys high with a basement and attic. Each house has two windows. The ground floor is rusticated with horizontal grooving and features bow windows. The doorways are narrow and have pilasters, entablatures, and transom lights. A continuous iron balcony runs along the first floor. First-floor windows are supported by consoles and have their own entablatures. A modillion cornice, originally present at the sill level of the attic windows, is now lost from number 52. Area railings are also present.
