Description

1-7 Alexander Place comprise a terrace of seven houses built in the early 19th century. They are three storeys high with a basement, and each has two windows. The houses are constructed of brick with rusticated stucco on the ground floor, which features segmental bay windows. First-floor balconies are made of wrought iron. Each house has an arched entrance, and the windows retain their original glazing bars. Some of the houses have early 19th century fanlights above the entrances. A stucco cornice runs along the top of the building, and area railings are also present. The houses form a group with numbers 4-10 on the opposite side of the street.
