Description

This is a row of four-storey terraced houses at 9-19 Alexander Place, London SW7, dating from the 18th century. The ground floor is finished with rusticated stucco, and the entrances are arched and plastered. A continuous cast-iron balcony runs along the first floor. The doorways feature plain pilasters, and number 9 has a projecting Tuscan porch. The windows are square-headed with glazing bars, and there is a stucco cornice above. Area railings are also present. The houses are part of a group that includes numbers 12-22 of the even side of Alexander Place.
