Description

This is a row of houses at 34 to 69 Cadogan Place, dating to the mid-19th century, although they likely incorporate earlier building fabric. The properties are five stories high, with a basement level, and each has two windows. They are faced in stucco, with the ground floor rusticated. Each house features a Doric porch incorporating a triglyph frieze. A continuous stuccoed balcony runs along the first floor, complete with a stuccoed balustrade. Some houses have glass hoods supported by columns. A prominent cornice sits above each upper floor, the cornice above the third floor particularly noteworthy for its wider projection, brackets, and enriched frieze below. The row is finished with a balustraded parapet.
