Description

The First Church of Christ Scientist is a church built between 1904 and 1909, designed by R. Chisholm. It is constructed from Portland stone ashlar and features a Byzantine style. The ground floor has a five-bay granite arcade, while the upper level showcases seven round-headed two-light windows with carved capitals. The central entrance is prominent, and the building has a similar elevation to Wilbraham Place. A dome-capped campanile is located at the southeast corner.
