Description

The tomb of Sir Carl William Siemens, who passed away in 1883, is located in Kensal Green Cemetery. It features a pink Peterhead granite Celtic cross and slab, which includes a portrait medallion made of Carrara marble set within a granite wreath. Sir Carl Siemens was one of the brothers who founded the prominent engineering firm and was known for designing the earliest successful commercial crematorium oven.
