Description

This is a house, originally dating from the 18th century, located at 5 and 5A Kensington Church Street. It is a three-storey building constructed of stock brick, with red brick window arches, and a flat roof. The windows are cased sashes, with 19th-century glazing to the top floor. The ground floor features an original doorcase with an architrave surround and cornice supported on consoles. Original iron area railings are present, including vase surmounts at intervals and wrought iron overthrows flanking the doorcase. Steps lead up to the entrance. A parapet tops the building, and the roof is covered in old tiles with two gabled dormers.
