They are three storeys high with a basement, and each house has two windows. The upper floors are constructed of brown brick, while the ground floor is finished with rusticated stucco. The doorways are arched, and the windows are square-headed, retaining their original glazing bars. The first floor features good wrought iron balconies, and the property is fronted by matching cast iron area railings. Numbers 1 to 11 (odd) along with numbers 2 to 8 (even) form a group with numbers 21 to 24 Alexander Square.
