Description
The garden wall at the rear of Allen Hall, located behind numbers 13 to 25 on the west side of Beaufort Street, is a boundary wall that was formerly associated with Allen Hall. This wall dates from the 16th and 17th centuries and consists of a long stretch of red brick. It stands approximately 12 feet tall and features a gabled capping above a course of diagonal bricks. The wall likely formed part of the garden wall for the home of St Thomas More.
