Description
These are three houses located on Old Church Street, dating from the late 18th century and subsequently altered. They are two storeys with basements and dormers, presenting three, three, and two windows respectively. The exterior is of amber brick, with a brick corbelled band positioned below the parapets. Each house has a wooden doorcase with an architrave; No. 34 features a bracketed hood, and No. 36 incorporates a later carriage way into the ground storey on its north side. No. 34 retains an old shop window with sliding shutters, and an 18th-century tobacconist’s figure sign is displayed above it. Area railings are also present.
