Description

This is a stucco terrace of houses dating from approximately 1820 to 1830. The houses have slated roofs extending to the eaves. Each house is two storeys high with a basement, and features two windows. A continuous hood runs across the front facade of the terrace, supported by decorative ironwork that shelters the doors and ground-floor windows. The upper windows are square-headed sashes with margin glazing. The ground-floor windows are French casements. The terrace, which forms part of the original layout known as Kensington New Town along with Launceston Place, shows group value in this context.
