Description
A terrace of six houses, numbers 13 to 19, located on the east side of Thurloe Square, was built between 1839 and 1843 in the classical style by George Basevi. The buildings are constructed of brick with a rusticated stucco finish to the ground floor. They are three storeys high, with a basement and attic level. Each house features a Doric porch and a continuous balcony with iron railings. The first-floor windows are framed by stucco architraves. Numbers 13 and 19 project slightly forward, featuring pilasters which rise through the first and second storeys to their corners.
