Description

This is a house, later used as a workshop, built before 1735. It is constructed of yellow brick with a slate mansard roof and brick stacks at the ends. The building follows a side-hall plan, and has three storeys, a basement, and an attic. The front facade has a three-window arrangement, with gauged brickwork on the first floor. The ground floor features a front door to the left, with an overlight, and a 20th-century workshop frontage to the right. There are two flat-topped dormers with sash windows in the roof.

The interior includes a mid-18th century staircase, extended in the 19th century to reach the attic. The staircase has two column-on-urn balusters per tread, with carved console ends. The hall and ground-floor principal rooms have modillion cornices and panelling. The first-floor rear room has a coved cornice. Attached cast-iron railings are present to the area.
