Terrace of four semi-detached linked villas. In street leading into Lloyd Square from north. c.1833. By John Booth, and his son, also John, Surveyors for the Lloyd Baker Estate; William Joseph Booth, another son, architect. Gold stock bricks set in Flemish bond with stucco dressings, and stucco pediment over each pair; Welsh slate gabled roofs, no. 6 obscured by parapet; centre brick stacks. Restrained Greek Revival style. Side-hall entrance plan to outer linked bay of each house. Two-storeys with basement; 3 windows each including recessed 1-window entrance bay coupled as link. Low steps rise to deeply recessed stucco entrance with antae supporting entablature, no. 3 surmounted by C20 reproduction iron balcony railings. Architraved doorway with C20 door and rectangular overlight; no. 4 sealed from within and exterior door hardware missing. Architraved 6/6 sashes throughout except to 1st floor links which have various narrower chamfered sashes with gauged brick flat arches; nos. 4-6 links altered at 1st floor level. Stucco moulded storey band to 1st floor. Plain stucco band beneath pediments; stucco parapet with stucco coping or blocking course to 1st floor recessed link.
