Description
This is an early 18th-century house, likely extended in the later 18th century, located on Upper Street. It is now also a shop. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a parapeted roof. It rises four storeys and has a two-window front. The upper floors have 6/6 sash windows, with 20th-century shop fronts at ground level. Original sash boxes are exposed. Brick segmental arches are above the first and second-floor windows, while the third floor windows have flat brick arches. A sill band is visible at the second floor level, and a prominent moulded cornice runs along the building at the level of the third-floor sills. A small cornice sits above this. The interior contains heavy beams on the first floor.
