Description

A pair of houses at 46 and 48 Ravenscourt Gardens, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The houses are built of stucco with slate roofs. Each house is two storeys high, one window wide, and includes a blind panel in the centre. Four full-height pilasters are a prominent feature. The front doors are set within recessed, pilastered porches in the centre bays. The outer bay windows on the ground floor are French casements with architrave surrounds, while the upper windows are sash windows. The roofs are hipped, and there are end stacks. The houses are listed as part of a group that includes numbers 27 and 29, 35 to 49 (odd numbers), 44 and 50 to 64 (even numbers).
