Description
No. 117 on Stoke Newington Church Street is an early to mid-18th century house that has been significantly altered. It stands three storeys high and features two windows. The majority of the parapet front has been rebuilt using a mix of stock brick and original brown brick. The ground floor has a late 19th-century shop with panelled stall risers and a moulded fascia cornice. The replaced sash windows have shallow segmental arches from the 19th century. This building is part of a group with Nos. 105 to 117, which share architectural significance.
