Description
Nos 109 and 111 on Stoke Newington Church Street are early to mid-18th century buildings that rise three storeys and feature five windows, along with a narrow flanking window on each of the two upper floors. The buildings are constructed of dark red brick with bright red brick dressings. Above a moulded red brick cornice, there is a later stone-coped parapet made of stock brick. A band runs at the first floor level. The windows, which have been replaced, are set within finely-gauged flat brick arches, with the central windows featuring curved cut patterns and being placed in a raised brick panel. The ground floor has late 19th-century projecting shops with alterations. Nos 105 to 117 (odd) form a group with these buildings.
