Description
No. 137 on Stoke Newington Church Street is a mid to late 18th century building that has undergone some alterations. It stands three storeys tall with an attic and features three windows, with the ones in the right bay likely serving a staircase on the lower level. The structure is made of stock brick, accented with red brick dressings. It has a stuccoed cornice and a blocking course, topped by a slated mansard roof that includes flat 19th-century dormers. The sash windows are adorned with flat brick arches, some of which have glazing bars. There is a half-glazed door with a plain fanlight set beneath a round gauged brick arch. Additionally, there is a one-bay projecting extension on the right side, which has similar windows on its inner return.
