Description
This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of eight properties, numbered 2 to 16, located on Pearson Street in London's E2 district. Each property is three storeys high with a sunken basement and has two windows. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with a stone-coped parapet. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within stucco-lined reveals, and have gauged flat brick arches above. The ground floors feature 6-panel doors, some with patterned fanlights, flanked by fluted quadrant pilasters and surmounted by stuccoed round arches. Number 2 has a shop front dating from the same period, which has been altered. Number 16 has an entrance on its left return. Properties 2 to 16 form a cohesive group.
