Description

  1. KINGS LAND ROAD E8 5013 (East Side) ------------------ Nos 526 to 532 (even) TQ 3384 24/292 II

  2. Late C18 or early C19 pair, each 3 storeys 2 windows in main block and set back slightly lower outer entrance extensions. Stock brick with parapet, top altered. Stuccoed arches to sash windows, lost bars. Fire insurance signs at 1st floor centre. Projecting shops on ground floor. Side wings have round windows at 1st floor and lunettes above. Interior, in factory use, retains graceful staircase with carved tread ends, ramped handrail and dado panelling. Front door of 4 fielded and 2 beaded panels has fanlight with interlacing bars.
